Hookworms

Rabies

Heartworms

Heartworms are among the most common ailment with all dog breeds.  They will reach lengths of up to 12 inches in the heart and also the lung arteries, resulting in heart failure, a decrease in blood circulation, and even death in some cases.  The symptoms with heartworms could not be seen till it is too late, so you are better off preventing them with the proper heartworm medicines.

Distemper virus
